OurDISHWASHERS
have one of the most important roles in our Back of the House, taking a major role in ensuring proper food safety and sanitation which helps keep both our team members and our guests safe. If you are looking for a fun place to work and make money, and a place to build relationships …we night be the perfect match!- The compensation range for our Dishwashers are from $17/hr - $20/hr
WHAT YOU'LL DO THE BASICS
- Ensuring the cleanliness and quality of every dish, pot, pan, utensil, and item that is used in the kitchen to prepare food and serve to our guests.
- Must be an ambassador of our mission and core values and great team player.
- Following food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring best in class practices consistently
- Ensuring the dish machine is operating at correct temperatures
- Ensuring that the proper detergents (and levels of detergents) are being used in the dish machine and pot washing sinks.
- Ensuring that the proper sanitizers are being used when cleaning walls, cook/ prep surfaces and floors.
- Abiding by the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) that outline hazardous chemical use.
- Helping maintain safe, clean, and organized walkways in the kitchen.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the dish area so that it remains at free from debris at all times
- Assisting kitchen with prep work, putting away food orders, and rotating produce as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- 18 years of age or older, with a strong passion for food and people
- Previous culinary experience preferred, but not required
- Team player with a good attitude and works with a sense of urgency
- Ability to read and follow written recipes/ standards/ safety instructions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Can work in both hot and cool environments
- Able to lift at least 20 pounds and frequently squat and bend
- Self-accountable in upholding high standards
- Able to work in an extremely fast-paced setting standing for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed
- Willingness to learn and develop
- ServSafe Food Handler Cerification (if you don't have it, we'll help you get certified!
