No midnight closings. A kitchen job that actually works for your life. Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Full-Time Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to join our dining team. If you have dishwasher experience in a restaurant, hotel, or senior living kitchen and you're ready for consistent PM hours that end at a reasonable time — this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment throughout every shift
- Assist with basic food prep and kitchen tasks as directed by the culinary team
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining environment throughout service
- Restock kitchen supplies and keep stations ready throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Be a dependable, team-first presence in a busy, well-run kitchen
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of dishwasher experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or ALF setting — required
- Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
- Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
- Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
- Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

- Must have an awareness of safety practices.
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
