Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, floors, and storage areas. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and ready for guests. Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely cleaning during events. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous. Experience with catering or banquet services enhances your ability to support large-scale events. Knowledge of food handling safety protocols ensures compliance with health regulations. Prior hospitality or hotel experience can provide valuable skills in customer service and teamwork.
