Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and energetic Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our vibrant kitchen team. Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment thoroughly following sanitation standards. Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision. Support the bussing of tables and clearing of dining areas during service hours. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Handle manual tasks including lifting heavy loads of supplies or equipment safely. Operate kitchen equipment with care, including dishwashers, slicers, and other small appliances. Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas regularly. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is key! Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety management standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are advantageous. Strong attention to detail when cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
