Job Description
Keik is hiring a Dishwasher to keep our kitchen clean, stocked, and running — and who's handy enough to take care of the small stuff around the restaurant. This is a physical job with a lot of variety, and we need someone who shows up on time, every time. What you'll do Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Operate the dish machine safely and efficiently. Lift and carry heavy pots, pans, and boxes of supplies (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift. Handle basic upkeep around the restaurant — touch-up painting, clearing slow drains, changing bulbs, tightening hardware, assembling shelving. Anything bigger goes to a licensed contractor. Receive deliveries, check them against the invoice, and put stock away. Keep storage areas organized, labeled, and clear of hazards. Clean workstations, floors, and sinks throughout the shift. What we're looking for Reliable and punctual — you show up for your shifts, including weekends. Comfortable with heavy lifting and staying on your feet for a full shift. Comfortable with basic hand tools and willing to take on small repairs. Restaurant experience preferred but not required. Handyman or maintenance experience is a big plus. English or Spanish — either works here.
