  • Maintain clean work areas as assigned.
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Properly store equipment or utensils.
  • Responsible for trash removal and storage in appropriate containers.
  • May sweep, mop or scrub floors.
  • Clean equipment as assigned, including but not limited to, ovens, broilers, stoves, slicers, and steamers.
  • Assist with stocking supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
  • May assist with preparation of various foods for cooking or serving.
  • Receive and store supplies.
  • Record appropriate dishwashing temperatures and monitor temperature and sanitizer in three bay sinks, per company guidelines.
  • Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks or carts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers.
  • May perform other cleaning duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This job operates in a kitchen environment whereby employees may be exposed to and/or required to operate equipment, including but not limited to, an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chef's knives. The employee is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise.
