About the Role We're looking for a dependable, energetic team player to join our Food Services team as a Dishwasher / Runne r . This role is the heartbeat of the kitchen—keeping things clean, organized, and moving smoothly so our culinary team can focus on preparing meals that support healing and care. What you'll do: You'll work closely with the Food Services Manager and kitchen team to help keep everything operating at a high standard.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Keeping kitchen and dining areas clean, safe, and organized Operating commercial dishwashing and cleaning equipment Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils Taking out trash, mopping floors, and maintaining clean workstations Assisting with receiving and stocking kitchen deliveries Supporting proper storage practices (labeling, dating, organizing items correctly) Assisting during meal service as needed Following all safety, sanitation, and facility procedures What we're looking for: High school diploma or GED preferred At least 1 year of kitchen or food service experience Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to help wherever needed Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment Dependable, respectful, and committed to doing things the right way Comfortable with hands-on, physical work throughout the day

Physical Demands:

This is an active, hands-on role that requires the ability to: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds regularly Bend, reach, stoop, twist, and crouch while performing duties Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent movement and deadlines Perform repetitive motions such as washing, scrubbing, and loading/unloading dishware Work in environments that may be wet, hot, humid, or noisy Maintain stamina throughout the shift while completing physically demanding tasks Why this role matters: This isn't just dishwashing—it's an essential part of the care environment.
