Weekend and holiday coverage required

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Sanitize patient trays, pots, pans, small wares, and kitchen equipment in accordance with department and regulatory standards

Maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food service areas

Support daily tray line operations to ensure timely meal service

Collect and transport patient tray carts from designated areas

Remove and dispose of trash from kitchen, storage, receiving, and dock areas

Clean and maintain coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas

Ensure food products are properly organized, labeled, and dated

Perform duties in compliance with local health department regulations and facility policies

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations and exceptional service

Other Requirements:

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions

Strong communication skills with patients, staff, and visitors

Ability to meet physical demands of standing, walking, lifting, cleaning, and transporting trays and kitchen equipment throughout the shift

Required Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

No minimum experience required

Previous experience in a high-volume food service, hospitality, dietary, cafeteria, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred Technical skills: Basic computer skills preferred
