We are seeking a dependable, hardworking team member to join our restaurant as a Dishwasher / Busser . This is a hands-on support position responsible for keeping the kitchen supplied with clean dishes, maintaining a clean and organized dish area, and helping keep the dining room clean and ready for guests. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability for PM shifts are required. The ideal candidate is reliable, works with urgency, takes pride in cleanliness, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. This position requires teamwork and the ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. DUTIES Dishwasher Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Operate the commercial dishwasher safely and properly Keep clean dishes organized and returned to their appropriate locations Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area throughout the shift Empty trash and replace liners as needed Break down cardboard and dispose of waste properly Sweep and mop kitchen and dish areas Clean floor mats and other assigned kitchen equipment Assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation Follow proper food safety, chemical handling, and sanitation procedures Maintain enough clean plates, silverware, glassware, and cookware to support restaurant operations during busy periods Busser Responsibilities Clear tables quickly and efficiently after guests leave Clean, sanitize, and reset tables for incoming guests Pre-bus tables throughout the guest's meal Remove dishes, glassware, trash, and other items from tables Keep the dining room, patio, lobby, and service areas clean and organized Sweep and clean floors as needed throughout the shift Restock service stations with plates, silverware, napkins, cups, and other supplies Assist servers, bartenders, hosts, and other team members when needed Help maintain clean and organized server and beverage stations Respond quickly when tables need to be cleared or reset Side Work & Cleaning Responsibilities Complete all assigned opening and closing duties Sweep, mop, clean, and sanitize assigned areas Take out trash and maintain clean trash areas Restock supplies throughout the restaurant Maintain clean restrooms and common areas as assigned Assist with overall restaurant cleanliness and organization Complete additional cleaning and support tasks assigned by management Skills & Requirements Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive throughout the shift Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry throughout the shift Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Comfortable working around water, cleaning chemicals, heat, and kitchen equipment Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one Reliable transportation Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays What Success Looks Like Clean dishes and kitchen equipment are consistently available when needed The dish area remains clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift Dirty tables are cleared and reset quickly Dining room and service areas remain clean and guest-ready Trash and cleaning responsibilities are handled before they become an issue Team members receive help when and where it is needed Opening, closing, and assigned side work are completed thoroughly You arrive on time, ready to work, and maintain a sense of urgency throughout your shift Join our team and become an essential part of delivering exceptional hospitality every day.
