Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using proper cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient handling under supervision. Support the catering and banquet teams by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events. Follow strict food handling and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper bussing of dining areas. Help with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen and dining areas to maintain a safe, organized workspace. Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or catering will be advantageous. Familiarity with cleaning procedures in a hospitality environment is a plus. Previous banquet or hotel experience can provide a strong foundation for success in this role. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
