The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods. Help with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas to ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate dishwashing needs during peak service times. Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including knowledge of food preparation techniques, is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
