Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall flow of food service operations. Your dedication will help ensure that our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely manner while adhering to strict food safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Duties Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and workstations following established food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for menu items Support bussing duties by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and ensuring cleanliness in guest spaces Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other small appliances Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots, trays, and boxes while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques Follow all sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards and prevent cross-contamination Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment by performing routine cleaning and waste disposal Experience Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning tasks is desirable Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment safely and effectively Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy items regularly Knowledge of food safety management principles and adherence to health regulations in a hospitality setting Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Join us in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
