Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup. Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area. Support the kitchen staff by transporting supplies, managing heavy lifting tasks, and operating basic kitchen equipment safely. Follow all sanitation standards and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Assist with food handling duties during busy service times, including basic plating support when required. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, workstations, and storage spaces, adhering to kitchen health and safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of supplies or equipment. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or food prep tools is a plus. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential!
