Your energetic and proactive approach will ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use, supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision. Support the cleaning of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a hygienic workspace. Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service or events. Handle waste disposal responsibly by sorting recyclables and managing trash removal according to procedures. Aid in setting up stations by providing clean servingware and utensils as needed. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads or bending. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies is a plus; training will be provided for specific tools and procedures. Experience in service environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
