Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, preparing ingredients for service, and supporting the overall food safety standards of our establishment. Your enthusiasm and commitment to cleanliness will help create a welcoming environment for both staff and guests, ensuring every dining experience is exceptional. Duties Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following strict food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas including countertops, floors, sinks, and storage spaces to meet sanitation standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and inviting. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other small appliances. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques to ensure safety. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards related to food handling, sanitation, and overall hygiene practices. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting. Basic knife skills for food prep are a plus but can be taught on the job. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Pay:
