Support the kitchen team by transporting supplies, handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting of dish racks or bulk items safely. Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers and other small appliances, adhering to food safety management protocols. Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces, following kitchen health and safety standards. Skills Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitizing procedures within a restaurant setting. Experience with dishwashing techniques and maintaining high sanitation standards in busy kitchens. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads such as trays or containers. Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment like commercial dishwashers and basic utensils.
