Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you'll ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment, supporting the smooth operation of our busy restaurant environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will help maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and efficiency. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff. Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring clean dining areas for guests Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces in compliance with sanitation standards Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and supplies safely while adhering to health and safety protocols Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and stand for extended periods during shifts Basic knife skills are a plus for assisting with food prep tasks when needed Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in accordance with food safety management protocols Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Previous experience with catering or banquet service is beneficial but not mandatory Embark on your hospitality journey with us!
