Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this lively and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation to support our culinary team. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure smooth kitchen operations, uphold high standards of cleanliness, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational culinary skills within a vibrant hospitality setting. Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and availability for food service. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and cooks. Maintain a sanitized work environment by regularly cleaning workstations, sinks, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health standards. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving ware is ready for service. Buss tables during meal service to clear dishes, reset tables, and ensure a tidy dining area. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food service and efficient kitchen workflow. Skills Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices. Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations. Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with banquet or large-scale catering experience is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers. Prior kitchen experience or hospitality background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
