We are a French cafe based in Chicago with 3 locations. We make our own baguettes, croissants, pastries and desserts from scratch daily in our bakery in the French tradition. We are seeking team players who enjoy making simple, wholesome, honest food! A Dishwasher/Busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in a restaurant's dining area and kitchen, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and cleaning the facility. They also assist with stocking supplies and may help with other cleaning tasks as needed.
Dishwasher/Busser Responsibilities:
Dishwashing:
Washing, rinsing, and sanitizing all dishes and utensils.Table Bussing:
Clearing tables after customers, wiping them down, and resetting them.Dishroom Maintenance:
Keeping the dishroom area clean and organized.Floor Cleaning:
Sweeping and mopping floors in the dining room and dishroom.Trash Removal:
Handling trash cans and removing trash from the restaurant.Stocking:
Maintaining an adequate supply of clean dishes, utensils, and other supplies.General Cleaning:
Cleaning the facility inside and outside, including floors, walls, wall bases, tables, chairs, and restrooms.Assistance:
Assisting cooks and prep workers if needed.Safety:
Promptly cleaning up spills to ensure a safe environment.Pre-bussing:
Pre-bussing tables when appropriate to maintain a tidy dining area.Communication:
Maintaining open communication with kitchen staff. Hourly wage is 15/ hour plus tips in the range of $5/ hour so 20 take homeJob Type:
