Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep professional, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall flow of our busy food service operations. Your dedication ensures that our guests receive high-quality meals in a safe, hygienic setting, all while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic workspace. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients under the supervision of kitchen staff. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean dining area. Operate dishwashing machines and manual handling techniques to manage heavy loads safely and effectively. Follow strict sanitation standards to uphold kitchen health and safety regulations at all times. Help with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients to prevent cross-contamination. Assist in maintaining organization of the kitchen by restocking supplies and ensuring all areas are clean and safe for staff and guests. Experience Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in restaurant or catering environments. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation protocols is highly desirable. Basic knife skills and knowledge of operating kitchen equipment are advantageous. Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling in a fast-paced setting is beneficial. Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper food handling techniques, is essential. Prior banquet or catering experience will be considered a plus for this role. A positive attitude towards teamwork within hospitality environments will help you succeed in this energetic role. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
