Reset tables with clean linens, utensils, and condiments for new guests. Maintain dining area cleanliness by wiping surfaces, sweeping floors, and addressing spills. Assist servers with tasks like delivering food, refilling beverages, or bringing extra items (e.g., napkins, condiments). Restock service stations with supplies (e.g., plates, glassware, napkins). Support kitchen staff by running bus tubs to the dish room and sorting dishes. Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a sanitary environment.
Dishwashing:
Load, unload, and operate dishwashers, or wash dishes by hand, ensuring proper temperature and sanitation.
Equipment & Area Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, equipment, counters, sinks, and floors to meet health and safety standards.
Waste Management:
Timely dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas, ensuring proper health and safety protocols are followed.
Stocking & Organization:
Restock supplies such as dishes, utensils, and paper products in designated storage areas.
Janitorial Tasks:
Sweep, scrub, and mop floors; maintain clean and organized dish stations; and perform other basic cleaning duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
No formal education required; high school diploma or GED preferred. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays (up to 50 lbs) for long shifts. Attention to detail, speed, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with servers and kitchen staff. Basic customer service skills for limited guest interactions.
