General Manager/Department Manager Job Summary:
Our mission is to provide an innovative and entertaining dining experience which will compel our guests to become raving fans and create brand loyalty. Join us as a guest, leave as a friend. Dishwashers are responsible to wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. They keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized, and stock the kitchen with clean tableware. Dishwashers are also responsible to help remove garbage from the restaurant and maintain a clean restaurant. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and fully engaged, service minded attitude Able to stand for 10 hours Able to lift at least 50 pounds Good hearing for safety and accurate communication (with or without accommodation) Must be able to read, write and speak in English Must have reliable transportation Requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions Must possess valid food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification if required by state law Compliance with our dress and appearance policy including black slip resistant shoes Responsibilities and Duties This position requires attendance as scheduled and policy and procedure compliance. Maintain clean and sanitary restrooms at all times. Maintain a pleasant and friendly attitude. Punch in, sign in and report to the General Manager/Manager on time. Perform opening set up, running side work and closing duties. Perform assertively, aggressively and in a friendly manner. Maintain dish area safety and sanitation. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Clean and maintain floors according to cleaning standards during shifts. Sweep parking lots, back dock, and kitchen frequently. Follows directions and uses caution when handling and using chemicals and or machinery. Dispose of trash and debris. Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times. Must pass general information and departmental tests with a grade of 90% or higher Perform job functions with accordance to performance standards. Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager/Department Manager. Work with "team work" always in mind.
