Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated dishwashers to join our team. As a dishwasher, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring guest satisfaction in our dining establishment. At least 18 years of age Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment preferred Hard-working, guest focused, team player Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds several times a day Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves in designated areas, ensuring they are ready for use by kitchen staff Ability to stock and organize product in dry, cooler and freezer areas on both low and high shelves in designated storage locations Ability to work in hot and damp environments (Dish area, inside restaurant and dining room, outside and exterior of restaurant and travel center, cooler, freezer & kitchen line) Ability to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselves or others Ability to apply fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length Must follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures Must be able to read, write and understand English Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise Ability to perform essential functions to standards with reasonable accommodation Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays Ability to wash, rinse and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwasher or by hand. Ability to keep the kitchen area clean by sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash & boxes and cleaning kitchen appliances, equipment and surfaces Ability to support kitchen staff by helping with food preparation tasks and restocking supplies as needed Ability to adhere to health and safety regulation to maintain a hygienic work environment
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Understanding of basic culinary terminology Ability to sanitize work areas regularly, clean and buss tables, and sweep and mop the dining room floor as needed Join our team as a dishwasher and be part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests!
