Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Dishwasher is primarily responsible for the sanitation, cleanliness, proper collection, and supply of the cooking tools, equipment, and provision required for the kitchen staff to produce high quality food safely and compliantly. The Dishwasher is responsible to neatly collect and discard all refuse, recycling, and identification of worn or broken equipment and needed provisions to replenish all cleaning and sanitation stations. The Dishwasher will cross-train to be able to prepare cold and hot food during off-periods to support production in critically busy and slow times in the same sanitary and compliant manner as the Chefs prepare cuisine.Responsibilities:
Washing dishes, mopping floors, cleaning equipment, cleaning bathrooms and any other kitchen area that GM assigns to keep a clean facility Assist with small kitchen prep duties as assigned by manager. Regular cleaning of refrigerated areas. Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines. Assisting with other assigned duties in the Kitchen during busy time. Maintains a safe, orderly, and sanitized kitchen by setting quat-sanitizer stations, monitoring and journaling temp-logs and using gloves, and food safety tools and best practices when cooking and working in the kitchen. Operate dishwashers, pressure washer, steam cleaner, and chemical calibration systems. Removal of trash Work directly with the Chefs to ensure that ACW (Air Culinaire Worldwide) sanitation standards and procedures are accurately reflected in their day-to-day operations. ACW is utilizing Shipday for all its logistical information. All employees who are organizing or delivering catering are required to use Shipday for all order logistics and deliveries to include delivery photo at point of delivery and the name of the recipient at point of delivery. All other duties as assigned by the General Manager.Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
High school diploma or its equivalent required. Kitchen experience and basic food knowledge. Demonstrated ability to take orders and follow through as well as work well with others in a team-driven, fast-paced environment is essential. Must be energetic, enthusiastic, creative, and highly motivated. Highly motivated to assist in food preparation and presentation when called uponOPERATIONAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stoop, stand for long periods of time, as well as walk, read orders, listening while discussing orders with fellow co-workers. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.LANGUAGE SKILLS
