Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in cooking, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment. You will play a vital role in both food preparation and dishwashing duties, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Assist in setting up for banquets and catering events as needed. Buss tables and assist with serving food during peak hours. Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to maintain a sanitary environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus. Culinary experience is highly valued; however, we are willing to train motivated individuals. A background in hospitality or customer service will enhance your application.
