Job Description
About us freight house is led by chef/proprietor sara bradley, runner-up on season 16 and season 20 all-stars of bravo's competitive cooking show top chef. she opened the doors to freight house in 2015 under the ethos food is more than just eating. your food has a story. many stories. freight house aims to be a unique kentucky dining experience, serving traditional southern flavors with a modern twist. through locally sourced meats and garden fare, our mission is to bring you fresh ingredients from our local partners and help to define the flavor of the "new south."
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using hand trucks
- Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a hotel, hospitality industry, restaurant, catering, or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
