The Role:

Kitchen FoundationAs our Prep Cook/Dishwasher, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen team, ensuring we haveeverything prepared for service while maintaining the cleanliness standards that keep our kitchenrunning smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn the food service industryfrom the ground up or needs a flexible schedule that works around other commitments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Prep Cook Duties:

Assist with ingredient preparation for cr pes, soups, salads, and daily specialsPrepare sandwiches and signature salad dressingsHelp with basic food preparation tasks like washing, chopping, and portioning ingredientsPrepare breakfast pastries and breads for daily serviceSupport the kitchen team during busy periodsMaintain food safety standards and proper storage proceduresStock and organize prep areas and walk-in cooler

Dishwashing & Sanitation:

Maintain clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout serviceOperate commercial dishwashing equipmentClean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and kitchen areasManage recycling and composting as part of our sustainability initiativesSupport front-of-house team with dishware during busy periodsAssist with daily and weekly deep cleaning tasksWhat We're Looking ForEssential qualifications:

Reliable and punctual with strong work ethicAble to work in a fast-paced environmentPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbAttention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessPositive attitude and team player mentalityWeekend availability requiredPreferred (but not required):

Previous kitchen or food service experienceBasic knife skillsServSafe certification (we can help you obtain this)
