In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our culinary operations, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are impeccably cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Support bussing duties by clearing tables and organizing dishware for cleaning Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a busy setting Familiarity with food handling, catering, or hotel housekeeping is a plus Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving roles is advantageous Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests shifts available are Thursdays 9-8:30pm, Fridays 9-3pm, Saturdays 9-8:30pm, Sundays 9am-3pm
