Dishwasher The Inn on Shipyard Park Mattapoisett, MA Job Details Part-time $15 - $17 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Pre-cooking preparation Teamwork Bussing Attention to detail Basic knife skills Full Job Description Job Overview We are looking for someone to fill in some open shifts throughout the week, into the fall and possibly winter. Room to grow towards prep work as well. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly after use Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing station Follow strict sanitation standards to ensure the kitchen remains hygienic and compliant with health regulations Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and dishware safely according to kitchen health and safety standards Maintain organization of dishware storage areas for easy access and inventory control Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is a plus Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers confidently and safely Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items regularly Excellent attention to detail for cleaning standards and safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Basic knife skills or familiarity with kitchen tools is advantageous but not mandatory Join us as a Dishwasher and become an integral part of our passionate culinary team!
