Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher/Busser, where your energy and attention to detail will play a vital role in creating a seamless dining experience. In this lively position, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, supporting the culinary team, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming environment for guests and a smooth-running operation for staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational restaurant skills while contributing to a vibrant hospitality setting. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following proper food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, glassware, and silverware promptly and courteously Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and dining areas to meet sanitation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and manual handling tools Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone Help with heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while adhering to proper manual handling techniques Experience Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous Experience in restaurant or catering environments adds value but is not mandatory Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing comfortably Knowledge of basic knife skills or food handling techniques is a plus but can be developed on the job Join us in delivering exceptional service by ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our dining spaces stay pristine.
