This energetic position ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting seamless food service operations. Your dedication helps create a welcoming environment for guests and supports our culinary team in delivering exceptional experiences. Whether working in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting, your contribution keeps the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and cleaning workstations to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and storage spaces, ensuring a safe and orderly environment. Support catering events or banquet setups by providing clean dishes and assisting with food handling as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely availability of clean items during busy service periods. Adhere to all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and food safety standards. Experience Previous experience in a food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant or hotel kitchen workflows enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food handling procedures is beneficial. Prior banquet or catering experience can be advantageous for supporting large-scale events.
