Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools using proper dishwashing techniques and equipment. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health standards. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup. Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and sanitation stations. Adhere strictly to kitchen health and safety standards to create a secure working environment for all staff. Participate in manual handling activities such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving kitchen items safely. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads regularly. Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and food handling protocols. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
