Job Description:
As a Dishwasher & Packaging Associate at Michele's Granola, you are a key member of our small-batch granola production team. You are responsible for properly washing utensils and sheet pans and maintaining the cleanliness of the dishwashing area. Along with dish washing, you have clearly defined tasks to complete during the daily packaging shift. The position involves standing for extended periods of time, repetitive motion, moving at a steady pace, and lifting up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities of all Dishwashers include:
Following all established dishwashing and drying procedures, including parchment removal and pan rack cleaning procedures Upholding stringent food safety standards to mitigate risk of contamination and/or cross-contamination Properly cleaning and maintaining the dish area and equipment including the 3 compartment-sink, utensil washer, mop sinks, drying racks, walls, floors and floor drains and vent systems Ensuring proper operation of all equipment, including ongoing chemical and temperature monitoring Completing all required logs Notifying management of needed repairs Responsibilities of all Packaging Team Members include: 1. Following established food handling and packaging procedures 2. Upholding our high quality assurance, food handling safety and sanitation standards 3. Cleaning duties including, but not limited to, dish washing, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal 4.
