Job Description

This role is for the 2026/2027 Ski Season. Interviews will begin mid-late summer. Tentative start date will be around the first week in December.
Basic Overview:
The role of Back of House Support Staff encompasses duties in the restaurant and can pivot from task to task or station to station, as needed. Common roles include Barback, Dishwasher, Prep Cook, Café Cook, and Pizza Cook. This is a great opportunity to experience different roles in the food and beverage industry. Barbacks assist the bartender by keeping the bar stocked. Dishwashers provide an outstanding experience for our guests by ensuring a sanitary and safe environment in our kitchens. The prep cook aids with food preparation. Pizza cook prepares pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats and executing customers' orders considering special requests.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to: Clean and restock glassware. Operate and unload dishwashing machines. Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into the dishwashing machine. Clean, sanitize, and maintain the dishwashing machine. Clean items by hand. Monitor dishwashing equipment and inventory for performance and supplies. Empty trash containers regularly. Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed. • Perform additional cleaning duties as requested. Clean food prep stations and equipment. Help with the preparation of food for cooking or serving, such as cutting vegetables and preparing sauces. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and often stressful work environment. Passion and enthusiasm for the food industry. • Follow orders from supervisors. Assist with unloading, inspection, and storage of raw ingredients and supplies. Stock workstations and ensure cleanliness by covering, labeling, and dating food items, then storing them properly. Handling kitchen cutlery efficiently and safely. Comply with all health and safety regulations. Prepare specialty and custom-ordered pizzas. Wash and chop vegetables daily, and refresh vegetables as needed. Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Exhibit a positive attitude. Follow directions to get work done quickly, safely, and correctly. Knowledge of sanitation procedures. Ability to work cohesively with others. Must be able to use kitchenware in a safe and proper manner. Understand food hygiene. Good time management skills.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly. Stand for long periods of time. Able to withstand heat from ovens.
