Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients Support the catering team by cleaning servingware and assisting with setup or breakdown of banquet events Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items and kitchen supplies in accordance with safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage dish flow during busy service times, preventing delays Help keep the entire kitchen area organized, tidy, and ready for daily operations Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary staff and fellow team members Familiarity with catering or banquet environments is a plus but not mandatory Basic understanding of kitchen operations including bussing, food preparation, and serving roles is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their culinary skills while contributing to an energetic hospitality environment.
