The job will be from 7am-3PM Responsibilities Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards. Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools following proper food handling protocols. Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates to support smooth restaurant flow. Handle manual tasks such as loading and unloading dishwashers, stacking clean items, and organizing storage areas. Follow kitchen health and safety standards diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic ingredient handling and prep work under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, floors, and surrounding surfaces, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations. Experience Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large loads of dishes or supplies. Basic understanding of operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers is a plus. Strong manual handling skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
