Your work ensures fire safety standards are met, equipment operates smoothly, and the kitchen remains a healthy space for staff and customers alike. Responsibilities Use ladders and scaffolding safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas of kitchen exhaust systems Perform detailed cleaning of ductwork, hoods, filters, fans, and related components using industrial cleaning tools and pressure washing equipment Handle manual tasks such as disassembling parts, replacing filters, and using hand tools to ensure thorough cleaning Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves, masks, goggles, and fire extinguishers when necessary Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency Manage heavy lifting tasks associated with removing or installing large components or equipment Follow all safety procedures related to industrial cleaning, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of fire extinguishers for emergencies Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and safety checks for compliance purposes Support customer service efforts by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and safety measures Experience Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with ladder use and working at heights safely is highly desirable Experience with pressure washing equipment, hand tools, or duct cleaning is advantageous Outdoor work experience is beneficial as the role involves exposure to various weather conditions Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and fire safety enhances your suitability for this role This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop specialized skills in industrial cleaning while contributing to safe and compliant kitchen operations.
