Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive House Assistant to help manage the day-to-day needs of a busy household. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a clean, organized home, preparing meals, and helping a household run smoothly. The House Assistant will primarily be responsible for meal preparation, laundry, organization, and general household upkeep. Key ResponsibilitiesMeal Preparation Prepare meals and snacks for the household. Assist with weekly meal planning. Create grocery lists and shop for groceries as needed. Prep meals and ingredients in advance. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Keep pantry, refrigerator, and household food items organized and stocked. Clean up kitchen and cooking areas after meal preparation. Accommodate household preferences and dietary needs. Laundry Wash, dry, fold, and put away household laundry. Sort clothing and follow appropriate washing and care instructions. Change and wash bedding and household linens. Treat stains as needed. Assist with ironing or steaming clothing when necessary. Keep laundry areas clean and organized. Household Organization Help maintain organization throughout the home. Assist with seasonal organization and household projects. Keep frequently used household items stocked and organized. Help identify tasks that need attention without requiring constant direction. Assist with occasional errands or household-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, household assistant, hospitality, or similar experience preferred. Comfortable preparing a variety of meals. Strong cleaning and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of the family's privacy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proactive and willing to take initiative. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Reliable transportation. Comfortable working in a private home environment.
