Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep! This energetic role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, supporting food preparation activities, and assisting with basic food handling tasks. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests while upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods to ensure all cookware, utensils, dishes, and kitchen tools are spotless and sanitized according to food safety procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage areas, following sanitation standards. Support food handling activities by following proper hygiene practices and safety protocols to prevent contamination. Buss tables by clearing used dishes and assisting servers in maintaining a clean dining area. Handle kitchen equipment safely during operation and perform routine maintenance checks. Follow all kitchen health and safety standards diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of pots, pans, and supplies safely. Basic knife skills for food prep tasks are a plus. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and food prep tools. Strong commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and adhering to kitchen health and safety regulations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the culinary team. Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
