Job Description
Job Summary:
To ensure all wares are cleaned in a timely and efficient manner and returned to the appropriate location.Responsibilities:
- Washes all dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Ensures proper sanitizer and detergents are used at all times.
- Cleans wares and put in their designated areas.
- Sweeps and mops dish area.
- Cleans and maintains guest and employee restrooms.
- When the restaurant is busy, dishwashers should assist with bussing tables.
- Ensures all items are properly clean before putting them into rotation.
- Verifies proper sanitizer with sanitize strips at start of shift.
- Cleans entire station at end of shift; ensures all equipment is properly shut down.
- Sweep and mops the front and back of the house at the end of the shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Adheres to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
Qualifications:
- Entry level position, no experience necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pound
