Job Description
Dishwasher / Prep Cook Job Overview We are looking for a Dishwasher / Prep Cook to support our kitchen team by maintaining clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while assisting with basic food preparation. This position is essential to keeping kitchen operations running smoothly and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, and dishwashing areas. Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing simple menu items. Stock and organize food, supplies, and kitchen equipment. Remove trash and maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Support cooks and kitchen staff during busy service periods. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Requirements Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
