Responsibilities Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment thoroughly following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling plates, or portioning supplies under supervision. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dishes to ensure a clean dining environment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, slicers, or other small appliances. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas by following proper sanitation protocols. Handle manual tasks like lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies with proper technique to ensure safety. Follow all health and safety standards related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations. Experience Prior experience in food handling or restaurant environments is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with basic kitchen tools and equipment is a plus. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail when cleaning or preparing food items to meet hygiene standards.
