Porter (Dishwasher)

Key Responsibilities Cleaning and Maintenance Clean and sanitize dining areas, kitchen surfaces, restrooms, and other restaurant spaces. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed throughout the shift. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Ensure that all areas are free of debris and presentable to customers. Stocking and Organization Restock supplies, including napkins, utensils, cups, and condiments, in the dining area. Monitor restroom supplies and replenish as necessary. Organize and maintain storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment. Support for Kitchen and Service Staff Assist kitchen staff with unloading deliveries and stocking inventory. Ensure dishwashing areas are clean and functional, supporting staff as needed. Handle minor equipment maintenance or notify management of necessary repairs. Customer Experience Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests at all times. Respond to customer concerns related to cleanliness or facility issues promptly. Safety and Compliance Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ensure that all cleaning tasks meet sanitation standards. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and in a physically active role.
