Job Summary Wednesday-Friday 8am-1pm roughly We are looking for a reliable and energetic Dishwasher to join our busy kitchen team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use. Your efforts help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment where delicious meals are prepared and served with pride. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hardworking, and passionate about supporting a high-quality hospitality experience. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the kitchen team in maintaining smooth operations. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and welcoming for guests. Follow proper manual handling techniques to safely lift heavy items such as large pots or crates of supplies. Operate kitchen equipment responsibly, including dishwashers and cleaning tools, adhering to safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all sanitation protocols are followed to uphold kitchen health and safety standards. Contribute to overall sanitation efforts by helping with general cleaning tasks around the kitchen and dining areas. Skills Previous experience in dishwashing or food service is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic understanding of kitchen health and safety standards. Good communication skills to work effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment is beneficial. A positive attitude with a strong work ethic focused on cleanliness, safety, and supporting the team.
