Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience in a resort or hotel setting.Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and check them in and out of the hotel in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls in a timely and efficient manner
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Perform night audit duties, including verifying guest accounts and ensuring that all transactions are accurate
- Utilize hotel management software to manage guest accounts and perform various administrative tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including handling any lost and found items
- Work closely with the hotel's hospitality team to ensure that all guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay
Requirements:
- Experience working in a resort or hotel setting
- Proven customer service skills, with a focus on providing excellent hospitality to all guests
- Experience with phone systems and hotel management software
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Familiarity with hotel operations and guest services
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A strong understanding of hospitality management and hotel operations
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations
