Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients following safety standards Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by cleaning surfaces, floors, and storage spaces regularly Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy and ready for guests Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, boxes of supplies, and other kitchen items safely and correctly Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other small appliances following safety protocols Adhere strictly to food safety management practices to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Skills Experience in food handling within a restaurant or catering environment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning or supply restocking Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment including dishwashers and food prep tools Understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a safe work environment Excellent manual handling skills with attention to detail in cleaning and food prep tasks Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly Embark on a role that combines energy, precision, and teamwork!
