Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Dishwasher, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use, supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hospitality and culinary experience while contributing to a vibrant food service setting. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning techniques. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are hygienic and organized. Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting the kitchen team with basic food handling. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are properly cleaned and ready for service. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods. Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Skills Strong knowledge of food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, and dishwashing procedures. Experience with banquet or catering environments is a plus. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and maintain sanitation standards. Basic cooking skills or culinary experience preferred but not required. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting restaurant operations. Familiarity with food handling regulations and hygiene practices in hospitality settings. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding fast-paced food service environments. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a lively hospitality setting while ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly!
