Job Description Maxwell's American Pub is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily kitchen and restaurant operations. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment while maintaining a clean and organized dish area. The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive to cleanliness, and comfortable working in a busy pub and restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and food-service equipment. Operate the commercial dishwasher and follow established cleaning procedures. Sort and organize clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Keep the dishwashing station clean, organized, and properly supplied. Handle glassware carefully and store clean items in their designated areas. Clean sinks, counters, floors, and other assigned kitchen and service areas. Remove trash and help maintain proper sanitation throughout the shift. Restock clean dishes, glassware, utensils, containers, and other restaurant supplies. Assist kitchen and restaurant team members with routine cleaning and support tasks. Help maintain a steady supply of clean equipment during busy service periods. Follow food-safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace procedures. Monitor dishwashing and cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs. Assist with opening, closing, and routine restaurant cleaning duties. Work cooperatively with kitchen, service, and restaurant team members. Qualifications Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, café, or food-service experience is helpful. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to learn food-safety and sanitation procedures. Able to perform routine dishwashing and cleaning duties throughout a shift. Careful when handling glassware and kitchen equipment.
