Job Summary Looking for a daytime dishwasher in a fast-paced environment. Our dishwashers ned to be able to keep up with washing all the dishes. They also need to be able to keep their area clean and tidy. You would be in charge of peeling potaotes. Responsibilities Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools according to food safety sanitizing procedures. Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are properly sanitized and stored in designated areas to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, such as organizing supplies or preparing ingredients for service. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently to maintain a tidy dining area. Follow strict sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling of heavy items and safe operation of kitchen equipment. Participate in routine cleaning routines for the dishwashing station and surrounding areas to ensure a hygienic workspace. Adhere to food handling regulations and food safety management practices throughout all duties to prevent contamination or health hazards. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous. Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning tasks demonstrates readiness for this role. Ability to handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of pots, pans, and supplies safely. Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers is a plus. Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards ensures compliance with all regulations related to food safety and sanitation. Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality work is essential.
