Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher and become an essential part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and cooking equipment, supporting our chefs and food service staff to operate smoothly. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace. Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas to the dishwashing station promptly to ensure smooth service flow. Operate commercial dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and organized. Follow strict sanitation standards to uphold kitchen health and safety regulations, including proper manual handling techniques. Help with heavy lifting tasks such as moving large containers or equipment while adhering to safety guidelines. Requirements Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is highly valued. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or cleaning tools is a plus. Excellent attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas of the kitchen. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Basic knife skills or culinary experience can be advantageous but are not required.
